Obsession by Calvin Snarklein

If 90 days minimum for a full manuscript to a publisher, what's the minimum of a full manuscript to an agent sent 12-15-05? I'm obsessing over email and mailbox and having difficulty working on wip. I need out of my misery!

Snarkingly yours.

Your start date is 1/3/2006. Everyone in publishing is on vacation, or saying they are from Christmas through the New Year. Count forward 90 days (unless the agent's website says differently) -- 4/3/2006.

Argh, my eyes! What happened to the font on your blog?
Are you showing prospective clients what happens to their submission if printed in Times Roman?

I love the new look. I give it TWO THUMBS UP!

I love the new font, it's delicious to read without CTRL +ing!

It looks like 7 pt Times Roman to me. Rows and rows of shrink-rayed ant corpses.

It's 12 pt Times Roman.

The new font makes this very hard to read.

I'm prejudiced in favor of Times New Roman 12.

I can't figure out what the hell happened.
I added a link to my sidebar and next thing I know ya'll are telling me it looks weird. Cause it looks the same to me. You aren't Gaslighting poor frail hungover no-coffee-yet Miss Snark are you? Cause that would be just beyond cruel

Not that anyone asked me, but I'm with kitty--I love the blog makeover!

Whatever program you used to make the blockquote for the author's question (copied and pasted from Microsoft Word or Outlook?) added formatting to it that's not usually there. That's all. Tempest in a teapot!

I captured a screen pic. Here’s what it looks like.

Ug. I hate TNR. I prefer Verdana online and Courier for manuscripts. I'm sure I'm weird.

On my screen it's now 7 or 8 point Times New Roman. That's way to small for comfort. The comments section is unchanged.

Must be your computer, cuz it looks the same on mine.

Looks like normal to me, too. *shrugs*

geeze, it took a couple tries but I think things are back to normal.

For the snarklings who liked the makeover, sorry, it was a mistake.

One of those what-the-font moments, I suppose. Don't worry, we still respect you ;)

Btw, am I the last one to discover that Killer Yapp has his own blog?

I didn't have any idea what you were all talking about until I looked at Kitty's screen shot.

I don't see that! It all looks normal to me, or did Miss Snark figure out how to change it back before I got here!

Simon...LOL...that's what you get for buying up all of my Blogstock...didn't think I catchcha! LOL

I appreciate the fix. Thanks!

I'd write an Insta Poem about it, but I used up all my talent writing the last one.

So, all I can come up with is:

Thanks so much for the return of what's normal.
I can read this, you see.
The old font was pleasing to me.

I'm sending my thanks, though they are somewhat informal.
You can't please everyone, but you pleased me.
Would you like some tea?

See told ya I used up all the poem making talent.
