KY is laughing as hard as I am.
(thanks to Lauren for the link...temptress that you are)
Where Miss Snark vented her wrath on the hapless world of writers and crushed them to sand beneath her T.Rexual heels of stiletto snark. The blog is dark--no further updates after 5/20/2007.

Bang goes another keyboard.
Soon as it's cleaned up...well, I was wondering what to put on my own blog this week!
BWAH!
"The International Independent Literary Agents Association (IILAA) is "composed" of independent agents."
Hello?
*ROFLMAO*
No, that doesn't describe it.
*OMG I'm going to bust a rib*
Nope. Not quite there.
*WTFOMGBBQ Die laughing and go happy to my grave*
Ok. that's about as close as it gets.
I had a cat when I was little that figured out how to flush. She did not have quite the obsession this one has, but every now and then you'd hear the flush upstairs and realize it was Pickles (a.k.a. Smudge). (Hey, I was four when I named her.)
My favorite moment: "I think we have a problem."
Bert and Ethyl, arriving home one evening learned why their water bill had gone up.
Oh my goodness!! That is too funny. Thanks for sharing. :)
I used to have a cat who loved to watch the water swirl around in the toilet. Thank dog he never learned how to flush it himself!!
I was laughing so hard I have tears rolling down my cheeks. To think, I was just happy to finally train my cat to sit in my lap when she wanted to be petted.
Thanks for helping me waste another few minutes!
And people ask why I am such a stickler for leaving the toilet lids down in my house...
I had a cat who loved to watch the toilet flush. Kitty tv, we called it. One time (when she was a kitten) she slipped off the toilet seat while she was watching, and my mother just barely caught her as she was spinning down ...
My cat is the same way, but he hasn't figured out how to do it on his own yet. I have to stand there and flush repeatedly for his enjoyment.
I wonder what the neighbors that share my bathroom wall think.
This cat is actually very special. S/he sees the ghost of all the gold fish that met their swirling demise in this water tornado.
Can't wait for gators and anacondas to follow.
Hilarious.
(I notice that he doesn't wash his hands afterwards!)
I have to admit that while it was funny to watch, I was seriously just waiting for the cat to fall in.
OMG, I almost fell off my chair laughing. Can't let our own crazy cat see this, or she'll get ideas!!
Thanks for the laugh :-)
"That toilet's gettin' a work-out."
"Yes, we have a talented cat."
Husband: "Shhhh... I'm gonna put it on the Web."
What a hoot. And that is one talented cat. All of our cats and dogs have been mentally challenged. They even look slow. And it took years to teach the kids to flush at all.
I can see why you connected to this piece. It’s a metaphor for reading query letters!
I can't help worrying about their water bill.
Yes, I'd keep that door closed from now on... but this is hilarious.
I had a cat that could open doors, but she never tried to flush a toilet. Ahhh... I love the kitties. They are so very, very bad.
