Skank, indeed. I have sworn off watching Fox until 1) the first of '07 or 2) they abjure this sleazoid garbage, whichever comes first.
I also nominate Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, Jackie's daughter, for the First Annual "The Book I Had No Hand In Creating" award. In her mother's things, Mrs. Schlossberg apparently found a bunch of poetry that children wrote to Mrs. Onassis. There wasn't much kids could offer as presents, after all--so Jackie would ask the children at the schools she visited: "What is your favorite poem? either yours or one you like?" and of course the children would suggest one.
Mrs. Onassis collected the poems. Mrs. Schlossberg, who never did, apparently published a book of the gifts the children gave to her mother.
To cap it, when Caroline S. came here for a signing, my boss went downtown for it. "Isn't it wonderful!" my boss said. "To be in the presence of a REAL, LIVE AUTHOR!"
Apparently my three published novels don't count when viewed in the light of Caroline's great literary achievement...
Therefore I also nominate my boss for the Book Lover's Clue-Gun Award.

I already don't watch Fox, so no biggie there. I sure as hell, however, will NOT be buying his book.
What a bastard.
Maybe the law governing Double Jeopardy should be recinded? Just in OJ's case.
On the Wal-Mart angle: Yes, they plan to carry it. Saw a quote on the news just a minute ago.
I wonder how much outrage there would be if this was CNN and Larry King doing the interview - and don't kid yourself, if he could have - he would have.

I would buy the book if I knew 100% of the proceeds was going to The Goldman family. If that was the publicity line with this book Ms. Regan and Fox could have been heroes and even OJ would have gotten some decent press from this travesty.
The Goldmans haven't gotten nickel #1 from OJ. I'd buy it, burn it and be glad to help the Goldmans.
OJ is making me violate a cardinal rule -- wishing ill on a book. I hope it fails in all respects. Regan should have turned this down and Fox told OJ to take it on the road. This is wrong on so many levels. Bad karma... big time.

What the hell is Harper Collins thinking? I'd be squirming right now if my book had a HC label on it.
