We're on Beta Blogger or something

I think you have to sign in differently to comment.
I think you'll figure it out.

When I signed in today I found 27 comments from two months ago. I think they were holding from people who'd used the new blogger. I just deleted them. Not without wondering if I was going nuts first of course cause the first one (Hi Bonnie!) said something about Christmas.

You didn't read them!?! You mean, you sent the comment containing George Clooney's super sekret, only his most intimate, cough, acquaintances know cell phone number that I sent you into the abyss?

Oh well.

Here, I thought you didn't post it because you didn't want everybody else hogging his air minutes.

now I know where all my comments went. This change is making me crazy, my computer doesn't want to recognize google vs. blogger.

So that explains a few things. Gotcha.

SOS SNARKLINGS! MAYDAY! BRING OUT THE WEAPONS OF MASS CLUESTRUCTION!

Beta Blogger or whatever, am I the only clueless one who can't find the magic portal by which one sends an email blogfodder question to MS? Not a query. Not a partial. Not an invitation to visit. A simple question for the blog! Numerous, quasi-vague directions point to the Profile, to the Bio. What rabbit hole is this?

Shhhhhh! Don't let Miss Snark overhear our conversation! It would ruin it for all Anons forever -- and anon.

word ver: Oh!God!Krack!

I thought you were censoring me whenever I mentioned

Nah don't sweat it, MS.

You've still got at least six good months before men with giant butterfly nets, starched white uniforms, and syringes of Thorazine come knockin'.

Hmmmm. I posted something rather witty and innocuous not all that long ago, but it didn't show up. Naurally I felt just a tad bit hurt

However, Miss Snark's admission appeases me somewhat. Will anxiously check to see if this one manages to slip through the portal.

Click "profile" and you'll see an e-mail address there.

Miss Snark censor? I don't think she'd censor it if I [Deleted for National Security reasons, KY]. And I'm sure that she'd never delete it if I told what her [Yes, I would! M.S]

However, I'd be a bit surprised if she let me tell about that trip to Brazil and the tall dark [Deleted for cause. M.S.] And he was cute too, except he was fuzzy.

Snarkie is not a fan of censorship! I'm as sure of it as [Oh, you bad woman! This comment is out!]

I resisted the switch until I couldn't get into my own blog anymore! I was gonna be the last one to go down, standing on my imaginary front porch with my imaginary rifle, hollerin that I ain't goin' down!!!!

But then I had to do it and it's not so bad after all...

At last, P&E will begin making announcements concerning winners in the recent Readers Poll. Does this mean that someone we know is involved? Check in tomorrow night and find out. :)

Minnie, I've been clicking on every place the word Profile appears, including My Complete Profile. I've never seen anything resembling an email address. Is it necessary to have a Google or Blogger Account to access that? I'm on a Mac OS X PowerBook: Does that matter?

a rather existential explanation for techno-snafus like this...

I made the dumb mistake of upgrading, only to find out that it rendered Opera (Mac OSX) worthless. Then I tried to post through Firefox at work (WinXP running on a SunPCI, solaris 9) - and it caused the whole operating system to disappear!! O.O

So I'm still a bit shy on the whole "use my own name" thing to post comments.

Maybe I'll try again sometime when there's nothing important running in XP...

Dear Anon.

I think Miss Snark has hidden her email. Finding it is sorta an IQ test. I sell her email address by the letter. the "@" is free. Ten dollars a letter. Think about it. Email me at YouCantReachmeHere@nomail.com

anon: You aren't at all clueless--Miss Snark's email address has vanished from her profile. Either that, or it has been rendered invisible to those of us who don't have Blogger identities.

Your email address is no longer on your profile?

I've been having all sorts of problems with Blogger lately: Signing it to my account, etc. It seems to have cleared up lately except for one really strange thing - when I try to go to Kristin Nelson's by typing in the first few letters of her blog, I get an error (Bad Request - Error 400). But if I go to it through a link (from the MS blog, for instance), I go right to it.

WTF?
