Dan'd if you

The question now is, does #170 mention in query letter to Dan Lazar, “Winner, Miss Snark Idols of March Writing Contest?” Form rejection or request for partial?

You'll be lucky if Mr. Lazar doesn't request a full restraining order!

Just FYI for the totally cluefree: the IOM is not a writing or publishing credit. Don't mention it on anything you want taken seriously. This was a fun game but that's all.

Okay, own up, Snarklings:

How many of you are planning to query DL after this weekend's festivities? ;-)

I just imagine Snark and Lazar downing huge pails of gin over the weekend as they read these together.

Can you imagine!?!

What a creative bunch!!

Heh. I think I'll send mine in with my query letter so rejecting me can be fun!

"Annie, thanks for your query. If you contact me again I'll call the FBI."

*grin*

It may not be a publishing credit, but if I were Dan and I got a query that mentioned it, I'd have to laugh...then after the 40th one, cry...!

I just found out that Dan Lazar will be a featured agent at the Writers' League of Texas conference this summer. Ha! Hopefully I'll be able to get a 10-minute slot to meet with him. Of course how I'll make it through the pitch without accidentally blurting about this contest is beyond me.

I'm pretty sure he knows about it.
